Morocco emergency response

On Friday 8 September a devastating earthquake struck Morocco. Over 2,600 people have died and many more citizens are injured or displaced from their homes.

Our thoughts are with our global community of staff, students and alumni who have been affected by this emergency.

How can I help?

The following organisations are collecting donations to assist with emergency relief and support and providing updates on the relief efforts.

Community gathering

To support any members of the community affected by the earthquake in Morocco, the University Chaplaincy held a gathering on 21 September 2023.

The Chaplaincy is accessible to any staff and students who need care and support.
